MCA Atrium Signage
Fall 2023
These pieces were completed while at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. I designed signage for the MCA Store that are displayed in the atrium of the museum. Both signs were created with the MCA visual identity and brand standards in mind, incorporating grid elements, square ratios, and branded typography. Considering hierarchy is another factor that I thought about when creating these pieces, wanting the arrow and store name to be the most prominent but also letting the product shots feel playful and catch your eye. It is always an exciting challenge to design within brand constraints, and I am happy that these evergreen signs will be used for years to come!
